J.D.’s relation with the parents had become almost unfixable, but with the knowledge learned in the Life Skills courses and the one-on-one work with the Narconon staff, she is confident she will reconnect with the parents and re-establish the relation. Here it is, in her own words:
“Today I feel was a successful day. I started the handling with my parents. I was able to start communicating with my parents a little. It is going to take time but it will happen. I did book work also. I enjoyed learning about honor and moral codes—knowing about that will help me. Especially in writing the harmful acts I have done in the past and the secrets connected to these.
“Doing this part of the program really helped me get some things off my chest. Writing letters to some people I was connected with, in the past, helped me put in place boundaries and balance to our relationship. Also writing letters to my parents will put in place boundaries and proper balance in my relationship with them as well. I feel so much better and I am focused back on myself.
“Big wins to the staff who helped me through this.”
